Read House 23 The Esplanade, Frinton on Sea, Essex Read House is a modern purpose built complex at Frinton on Sea catering for the residential, respite and day care needs of elderly people with visual impairment. Situated on the seafront overlooking the greensward and within short walking distance of the busy high street shops in a community which has welcomed people with visual impairment for many years. Read House offers: Permanent and respite care in single occupancy en-suite rooms Personal care by staff who have all received visual awareness training Special diets catered for by our professional chef Specially designed décor with colour contrasting to help those with partial sight Bathing facilities with Parker baths, shower room and Jacuzzi options  Braille and tactile signage throughout Sensory garden Activities and outings arranged with visual impairment in mind. We have a dedicated Activities Co-ordinator.
