Our Resource Centres stock a wide range of visual aid equipment. Items available include talking products, writing aids, kitchen equipment, magnifiers and UV shields. We are happy to order items not in stock. Demonstration of electronic aids such as CCTVs and reading machines is available on request. We also keep a large selection of catalogues, brochures and information leaflets.

Braintree

Location: Braintree Community Centre, Victoria Street, Braintee CM7 3HN.
Open: Every Wednesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

An activity group meets at the centre one Wednesday each month.

Brentwood

Location: Brentwood Central Library, New Road, Brentwood CM14 4BP
Open: Second Monday each month 10 am to 1 pm

A reading group meets at the Library the same afternoon.

Clacton Resource Centre

Location: Sam’s Hall, Rosemary Road, Clacton CO15 1NZ.
Open: Every Thursday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The first Thursday of each month:

Art classes 10am until 12noon.

Activities session 2pm until 3.30pm 

Frinton

Location: Read House, 23 The Esplanade, Frinton on Sea CO13 9AU.
