Resource Centre

The resource centres in Frinton (open daily) and Thurrock and Chelmsford (once a week) stock a variety of ‘aids to daily living' and staff are happy to advise you. Plans are in hand to open centres in Colchester and Clacton .

Independently run resource centres operate in Basildon (PAVIS foundation) Saffron Walden and Havering. We are happy to supply details of these and all the above centres, just contact our advice line.

Advice and information is only a phone call away. Our staff have a wealth of experience in dealing with the problems facing the visually impaired.

Hospital Eye Clinics Support Groups

Run entirely by volunteers, these groups provide an important service to those attending hospital eye clinics. At a time of great stress our volunteers are able to offer important advice and support and a listening ear whenever necessary.
